Reasons for hating the net..No.44

What I dislike about internet conversations is that any true agility of mind is lost, leaving the road clear for "esprit d'escalier" artists to spend days working on their smart ass responses..Negating an artistry that is a result of half a lifetime of polishing my skills in North London pubs.

Now you're just being jejune.

Consider it all just a lesson in much needed patience.

With regard to "Patience"..Like "Peace"-
"I hate the word": "Tibalt",
"Romeo and Juliet".
Come to think of it, I dont even really understand the concept..

Tybalt? The hothead?

Makes my point. Best lessons are hard won.
Patience is no quaint notion, it is truly a virtue.
Raise all sorts of hell, I say, but mind your virtues.

Mythic truth is timeless.
The quest for control will always be folly.
Yield and be strong.

Is this patronizing? Not meant to be. Guess I'm
just siding with choosing windmills carefully,
not tilting at every one that looms.
